Absolutely I recommend it. As literature? Hm..nah. Gripping read? Yeah I’d say so.
In fact I’d go out on a limb and say most Lovecraft fiction is a good read. I’ve stumbled across a few dogs…but in general pretty fun stuff. And its fun to think about just who else was influenced by it in their writing and who might have influenced him.
Now Lovecraft himself seems like quite an unlikable sort. Product of his time mixed with some streaks of mean and melodrama.
And as for my own taste level…dunno…this may be questionable…mu ha ha ha
