…is it still a leaning tower?
Fun fact: In the old Dutch city of Leeuwarden sits De Oldehove an unfinished church tower that leans more that the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Yet no one seems to know it exists.
Building on the tower began in 1529, but was eventually dropped in 1532 (or 33) when builders where unable to correct for the lean. Eventually the church the unfinished tower was attached to fell into disrepair and was demolished around 1595, but the leaning tower was left standing.
So take THAT Pisa.

It doesn’t look that severe a lean, though!
True…the pic doesn’t do the lean justice. Just added a few more that make it a bit more clear.
I think the white of the Pisa tower helps to visualize the angle of the lean also. So De Oldehove probably can’t make the same kind of impact.
But truthfully I think what would help most is some silly tourists like the ones in the last pic I added.
