Ahh my misspent youth….

Square

When we were kids we used to play this game where you had to navigate the room (or rooms) without ever touching the floor. You can imagine the wackiness that ensued.

We lived in a huge old three story rowhouse that had thick plaster walls, heavy doorways, and mantlepieces. Those mantlepieces REALLY came in handy.

Good times…good times.

This video reminded me of that time. (Oh, hi mom 🙂 )

Enjoy!…

  1. We used to brace ourselves against the walls in the stairwell and climb up to the top of it, which was level with the ceiling of the second story. It would have been a hard fall from their down onto those hard wood stairs! As far as I know, nobody ever fell and died.

  2. Our house had a long narrow hall on the second floor and we would do the same thing, brace ourselves against the walls and climb to the top. No deaths to report either. Yes, good times indeed.
