What I wouldn’t do to own one of these Charley Harper prints. But their price tags are well beyond my means…*dramatic sigh*.
Charley Parker was an American Modernist artist born in West Virginia in 1922 (he shuffled off of this mortal coil rather recently…2007). I am in love with his highly stylized prints of the animal world. Rumor has it, according to the page where I found these to-die-for prints, that Parker literally ran them off in his garage never producing more than maybe 100 of each design.
