Engineering students at Purdue University set out to break the world record for the most steps in a Rube Goldberg machine and they passed their self-imposed test with flying colors.
Their 244 step “Time Machine” is a wonder to behold. Easily smashing the former 230 step record setting machine built last year by Ferris State University students, it winds it’s way from the Big Bang right on through to the Apocalypse.
And the coup d’ΓΒ©tat? In the end it quietly and simply waters a flower.
