Ahh the good old days when $799 bought you a cinderblock with a cord and antenna attached to it rather than Siri and the Internet.
And make no mistake you younguns that somehow never have experienced a world without a phone in your pocket, the people who had one of these monstrosities were indeed cool and to be admired.
I mean it was a transportable phone you could carry with you anywhere! You could make a phone call from anywhere you wanted! Science fiction come to life!
Yeah…I’m old. (But at least my family was cool enough to have one. 🙂 )
